Daydream

We take this picture by ourself :D we xdon't copy from Google :P
I was touched by the wide expanse of the borderless sky
You can see the gentle smile in my face, towards the gentle sea
If I could, I want to stretch my arms to grasp this sky
Maybe this is something that can't be erased, but it can’t stay just the way it is
But when I was able to stretch my hands out,
What was left was a bad day dream.
When I came to my consciousness, what lies in front of me was not the sky
It was a tragedy world
The next stage of humanity was a tragedy
The sound stops the blowing wind
I can no longer feel the gentle breeze of the night
I can no longer smile , not in this bad dream
The moon in the night sky waxes and wanes
There are no stars in sight.
But even in the darkness, this is a wish I’d like to share with you.
Even though in this false and fallen wonderland
It was still our glorious and precious world
This barren soil will be transformed a beautiful greenland
This barren wasteland would morphed into the borderless sea
This blood sky will shift into the glittering blue night sky
Are you leaving now? But it's fine, since you've decided
I will try my best to shape this world into a beautiful world
During the times when there are problems
We need to face them alone
But even during those times, wherever you are
I hope this faith of mine will resonate strongly
Its  not a wish to just forget about the painful past
Its a wish that confronts the sadness
Even though there are stars in sight, their lights are still there, shining in the darkness
But even in the darkness, a ray of light will shone on tomorrow to shines brightly
And this is a wish I share with you.
I hope this wish will be able to reach everyone’s heart ,
A wish that will help Mother Gaea and everyone’s in her protection
Not as a regret, I want this wish to be a way of prevention
A prevention of things that will cause a great remorse in everyone’s heart
before the land turned into badlands, we shall end this cycle.
The world ends with you, and the new world begins with us.
Before becoming the world of tragedy, we shall make this place our place of hope

World Wide Fund for Nature( WWF )

World Wide Fund for Nature is an organization working around the field of environment. Their main goal is to preserve the environment. Their original name was World Wildlife Fund, which they still use in Canada and US.
Their main mission was to "to halt and reverse the destruction of our environment".

can you guys be as noble as them? Probably not, NOT IF YOU DON’T WANNA TRY! XD
you can be as noble as them should you want to try and preserve the environment :3

It was founded by
-Prince Bernhard of Lippe-Biesterfeld

-Julian Huxley

-Max Nicholson

-Peter Scott

-Guy Mountfort

-Godfrey A. Rockefeller
( NO PICS. SORRY GUYS >< )

The Panda symbol came from Chi Chi , a Panda from Beijing Zoo which was transfered to London Zoo around the establishment of WWF itself, and also because pandas were one of the endangered species, hence they used as a symbol/mascot.

Their mission is to stop degradation of our planet natural environment, and build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature.
Also, keep in mind that they’re not trying to keep humans out of the environment and stop countries from developing, they’re just trying to find a practical solutions for a healthy planet.

How Ordinary People Can Help the Environment?

The citizens of Central Kalimantan (ordinary people) can help the environment:
  • Throwing rubbish in the rubbish bin, if you throw it in the river it will cause flood.
  • Do not burn the forest so the forest will grow bigger and it will produce more oxygen and when you burn the forest the smoke from the burning activities will make a kind of sickness.
  • Do not do illegal logging because trees can help the environment when flood come. Plant some kind of plan to make your house greener and to make the air is fresh.
  • Do not burn things like plastic because it cannot be damage and the smoke from the plastic burning is not good for the air and our own health.
:D These are some things that can help us to help the environment :)

The Water Fall in Central Kalimantan

I love the nature in Central Kalimantan. The air is fresh because it wasn’t really polluted and there are many trees that can produce oxygen. There are a lot of forest and no traffic. The most things that I love in Central Kalimantan are the water fall. It is one of the best views that we can see in Central Kalimantan. There are 8 diffent kind of water fall in Central Kalimantan. They are Batu Mahasur Water Fall in Gunung Mas, Bawi Kameloh Water Fall in Gunung Mas, Bambun Water Fall in Murung Raya, Dirung Duhung Water Fall, Laas Water Fall in Murung Raya, Palei Kodan Water Fall in Lamandau, Sukam Water Fall in Lamandau and the last is Tosah Water Fall. These are the list of water falls in Central Kalimantan so I hope that you would like to visit Central Kalimantan to see all this beautiful waterfalls.

Water Pollution in Central Kalimantan

Water is really useful for human life, they use water for drinking, washing, bathing, cooking and many others activities. Water pollution is when the water that we usually use for drinking or other activities is contaminated with bad lique or other bad stuff.
In Central Kalimantan almost all of the rivers have been polluted with bad chemicals and liquid. These are the river that already contaminated: Kahayan River, Barito River, Kapuas River, Katingan River, Lamandau River, Mandawai River and Seruyan River. All of these rivers have been contaminated with bad liquid (chemical) called mercury. This chemical is contaminated with the river’s water when the mining of gold and zircon sand mining that haven’t have permission from the government is working in the river. The gold miners use the mercury to remove the sand from the gold so they can sell the gold for their own business.

The second things that are contaminated in the river are the rubbish and waste from some factories and from the citizen that live around the river. They usually throw their waste and rubbish to the river and as you that rubbish is really bad especially for plastic rubbish that can’t be damage.
This condition is not good for the citizen because when the citizen or the people that live around the river take the water for drinking and cooking it is the same like they are drinking and cooking the water that already mix with rubbish and mercury. The effect when they did that is sickness. They would have a lot of different sickness like Cholera, Dysentery, Typhoid, Jaundice and Skin diseases. For the fish that live in that liver will die because of the effect of the mercury chemical.

It is a serious problem, so we can do this thing to make it better: don’t throw rubbish and waste to the river and stop the gold mining and zircon sand mining that use
Mercury.

the problems that Kalimantan face :(

Now, it’s the problem that Central Kalimantan has. The only things which contaminate the air are smoke, and forest burning. 2 connected things which will never stop unless we and the government actually do something to prevent it. Not stoping it. Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, EVER thought to stop forest burning because it’s useless. Better safe than sorry. Stoping forest burning are as if. It’s like filling watter inside a holed bucked, useless. ><
One idea i can think of to stop burning forest are to litterally and actually helps the farmer. Helping them to buy a land, and help them to actually open the land without burning the land, supporting their families so they can farm without opening a new land without burning it. We can do it, if we want to, which is hard. We have to be moved by and for a reason so we can actually help them.

All of te above are my opinion. Some of it are true, and some of it can be false or true depending on you.

what i like about Central Kalimantan :)

What i like about Central Kalimantan are the air. The air here are kind of nice and fresh. It’s not polluted like the one aroud Jakarta, and possibly, some other place 
but one can say that the minus for this is the heat. Most people thoughts that the heat are, well, hotter than most area. But hey, we can’t do anything about it, you know ;)
Also, most people thought that the heat here were hotter ( which is true ) and it’s a lot dangerous than the usual “heat”.........
you get what i meant? It’s like, the heat here are not healthy, which is FALSE . the heat here were actually hotter because it’s healthier here. Rather than in jakarta which has a cooler temprature, it’s because the polluted air covers the city which makes it cooler, but not healthy. That’s a few reason as of why i came to like Central Kalimantan...or possibly, Kalimantan itself. XD

Forest Burning

hey, what’s up! It’s me again! So, today i’m going to tell you about Forest Burning. What it is, why , and who did it. Be aware that’s what I’m gonna write down here are a mix of my opinion and some facts which came from a movie I saw.
First, what is forest burning. It’s a human activity which does a bad effect not only to your society and yourself, but to the world. Can you think of why the world is in it too? If not, I can tell you why.
If you burn the forest, that’s the same as slowly destroying this planet and what’s inside it. Forest produce oxygen. If you destroy/burn one, you destroying a source for the oxygen. Without oxygen, human can’t live, animals lose their home, the world will also slowly dies because oxygen are what the atmosphere are somewhat made of.
Next is who did it. Who do you think could possibly did it? Don’t blame anyone because for me it’s us who did. Yep. All of us. You, me, we can do it. It’s easy. So don’t blame anyone if you’re talking about forest burning. the answer for this is simple. WHY. Why would you do such a thing? It does you no good right? Am I right? Or am I right? XDDD
Why . it’s the final section. The why for this were actually...no, very simple. You just have to be open minded. The reasons as of why did forest burning, are as follows( based on my opinion, and the facts ):
- They was forced to do so.
- They just want to/as a prank/they’re a pyromaniac.
- They have to do it.
- They accidentally did it.
I’m going to cover the 3rd fact. The farmers are forced to burn the land you know? They have to burn it to open a new land where they can farm things. They can, though, ask the government for a land so they can farm things, but only if the government approve their approval. So, it’s kind f useless asking them for it when you know that they won’t approve it. And because of that, they opted to burn to open a land, which is easy, rather than ask for an approval for a land so they can farm, which is harder.

that’s what I can, kind of, say about forest burning. if you want to stop forest burning, make sure you know what kind of problem you’re going to face and handle. For me, I personally don’t support “stop burning forest” because I can’t do anything and I consider it useless, and at the same time I don’t like how they chose to stop it rather than preventing it.

Floras in Kalimantan ( Borneo )

Floras in Central Kalimantan( Central Borneo )

Borneo( more commonly known as Kalimantan ) is an island in Indonesia. It’s the biggest island in Indonesia. It has some of Indonesian rare animals( like orang utans, etc. )
Sooo, in this part, i’d like to tell you about the Floras in Borneo( Kalimantan ).
what i’m going to tell you guys here are about SOME of the Floras (mostly flowers, though ).

So! the first flora is...!
1. Nepenthes<< did I spell that right? Oh well, i’m bad with spelling ><

Nepenthes, what are they:  Nepenthes is a plant that lives around Indonesia, South China, Western Madagascar, South-Eastern India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Philippines, and Northern Australia.  You can find most of them around Borneo and Sumatra though. Nepenthes are carnivorous.< again, did i spell that right?
What they eat are basically small insects, but the largest kind of Nepenthes( Nepenthes Raja and Nepenthes Rafflessiana ) ate small vertebrates, such as rats.
They usually grow in dark and humid place, that’s why you can found most of them in Borneo, because there are a lot of rain forest here( humid and dark ). They can live in highland and lowland. Which is somewhat unique. A nepenthes with closed lids means that they are newly born. They will then grew in size and slowly their lids will open. Inside them, you can find water.  Another thing which is awesome about this plant is that when you get into forest, you can actually drink from them. Just make sure that the lids are closed, because if it’s opened, then there’s a chance that the water were filled germs and other things you don’t want to know about. If it’s closed, then it’s guaranteed 100% pure. And one thing, you can only find them ONLY inside some rain forest and in some empty field by the streets( around forests of course .
The second flora is...!
Black Orchid/ Coelogyne Pandurata<<< this i’m not sure if it’s the right spelling again. :3

Black Orchids are special because you can only find them in East Borneo. It seems they also have become one of the symbols for Borneo. They grew in shrubs, and only seems to bloom between April and Desember. One could say, that this time period is the best time to visit Borneo, because if you’re lucky enough,  you might stumble upon a field filled  full of these flowers! XD
but nowadays, it’s kind of impossible, since people tend to burn the forest, which is somewaht their home, making them one of the seemingly rarest orchid in Borneo .

Please help our environment :D

If you throw rubbish in the river, it will have a really bad effect. When the rain comes and the water of the river is rising because the rubbish that you throw makes the water of the river can’t flow and the effect is flood. That why don’t throw rubbish in the river if you want to save the environment :D
